The Way That Is Right

I am thankful today. God lead me to a group of very nice homeschooling ladies. Also I have really enjoyed listening to podcasts by a lady named Cindy Rushton. The title of the program was Be Priceless. http://www.cindysdesktop.com/ Anyways she also encouraged me this morning as I listened to her. She spoke of how we are tri-une like God. We are body, soul and spirit. I know that I feed my spirit with God's word and I try to feed my soul with knowledge of important things and obviosly I feed my body but hmmm.... I feed it with not so healthy things. I was convicted! It made me think of the balance that is needed in my life. Do others feel unbalanced as we try to glorify God in every area of life??
The podcasts are really for gals so if you are a guy you may not care to listhen. Cindy is very southern and I love it!! But hey if you are a guy you need to balance these things in your life too.

Yes, balancing it all is difficult at times. Since we eat three times a day maybe we should read Gods word and pray three times a day, lol. I guess we are supposed to pray continuously so that is not such a good idea. I think the important thing is to be aware that we need this balance and try to feed all areas healthy things in order to grow in the right way. At church on Sunday the Pastor said something that stuck in my head. He said we should be asking God "Am I on the path you want me to be on today?". I would also add "Is there any thing in our paths that is causing us to sway?" We need to address these things and bring the balance back into play. Thanks for the discussion Tricia.
