FISHERS OF MEN ???

Jesus has called His disciples to be "fishers of men." In view of this fact, how shall His disciples respond? What does it mean to be a "fisher of men?" What does this calling require of me? How can I know?

Well, in order to know, where else should we look if not in the gospels. We need to see the method exhibited in the life of Jesus. We need to see what He did and try to emulate the method He used as He tried to reach men and "catch" them for the kingdom of God.

In addition, I'd like to offer a couple of suggestions based upon the time tested methodology of successful fishermen.

1)      Do the effective research in order to learn what it is that attracts what you're trying to catch.
2)      Find out what the fish (men) are biting on.
3)      Is it power bait? Is it shiny, sparkly lures?
4)      Where are the "good fishing holes?"

Finally:   Learn how to fish, use good bait and go to where the fish are and then cast in your line, pray, be patient and wait.

The various items available at WAY180WEAR are designed and selected in order to stir the curiosity of those you are trying to "catch" for the kingdom.

I pray, good fishing to you, may you catch your limit.

God Bless You Dear Servants Of The Lord.

Some Thoughts Regarding way180wear.com

It 's almost impossible to purchase an article of clothing without becoming the unwitting advertiser of the company who manufactured the item?

It's something that we're hardly cognizant of anymore. "Sporting" this company's logo or that company's logo, we hardly give a second thought. But what if the company you promote, by purchasing their product and wearing their logo, is a company that uses the revenue you give them to support social causes that you would never support if you were given the choice. Are you OK with that?

If there was a company, whose vision and purpose was to support the work of reaching the lost and encouraging the found, is that something you could support. Well, my friend, that is the vision and purpose of WAY180WEAR.

Throughout my life I've been interested in art and graphics and after being "born of the Spirit" and spiritually awakened I decided to use my art for the purpose of "building up the kingdom." WAY180WEAR represents my newest phase of that work.

WAY180 products are emblazoned with logos, declarations and images that are multifaceted in purpose with the intent of reminding mankind of the life changing power of God. Check the links at the top of the page for further information regarding the vision and purpose of WAY180.

More than a name or an eye catching design, WAY180 communicates an idea, a philosophical concept.

WAY180 designs are fashioned in a manner that stirs the curiosity rather than make a complete and obvious statement. Our designs should cause one to wonder and ask the question, "What does it say?"  "What does it mean?"

There's an interesting proverb in the bible:
Proverbs 25:2
2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

In every area of life, in all of created order, God has placed mystery. It is the inquisitive nature of man to want to find answers to these mysteries. WAY180 designs utilize a bit of this hide and seek dynamic to stir human curiosity. That's what WAY180 is about.

And now: the meaning of the name:
In Proverbs 14:12 we read: "There is a way that seems right to a man, but it's end is the way of death."

WAY180 people are those who have recognized the truth of this proverb and have corrected their course. They are people who discover that selfish and reckless living don't lead to life but rather, rob us of quality and purposeful life. WAY180 people are those who turn from the way that seemed right to the way that is right and, as a result, receive abundant life. They receive the promise of He who is the Way the Truth and the Life: JESUS.
