Greg Mosey Spooky Moon on the Horizon

I was taking my daughter home last night after a day of celebrating a baby shower for my next grandson and we headed south on I-15 commenting on the illumination of the full moon. As we were slowing down, turning on the Tropicana exit, I looked to the direction of the strip and found one of those kodak moments.

Maryann Brodeur "Today Lord!"

This morning at bible study my friend Patsy asked us all a question. “Have you ever had on of those moments with God like Moses did at the burning bush?” I didn’t know exactly
what she meant. God has never told me to do something that can compare to Moses going to Egypt to lead the

Maryann Brodeur Humility

Humility, this word does not get enough attention. Well, lately God has been putting this word in my direct line of sight and there was no way for me to step around it. At first I thought,
“Well, I am humble, aren’t I?” That thought right there tells you that I am not. I want to be. I try to be. I might have humility in me but I also have pride.

Jim & Sally Cribbs The warfare begins...

You know when you study God's word you're going to encounter resistance from satan. When God's power becomes strong in your life and in your church, he is there, stirring things up. Pray for our church, pray for our home fellowships that we would be strong and able to withstand the wiles of the devil. ***Already he has attempted to put stumbling blocks in our paths.***

"...put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt accordin

Mike Welte Greetings And Huge Holy Spirit Hugs To You

I haven't written, responded or participated very much in way180.com for quite a while now. To tell you the truth, October, November and December were difficult months for many of us, including myself. Sure, after 28 years in the Lord, I have learned how to tough it out and hold on to the Lord but I have to say that with the economy affecting so many areas of peoples lives, it seemed like a cloud of oppression was upon the Las Vegas valley. With all the stats saying Nevada has been one of the… Continue

Kurt von Schleicher What Will E-net-Castin' Kinda Look Like Tomorrow?

Have you discovered yet that second only to the blessing of experiencing Christ in biblical worship first hand, comes the great J-O-Y, fun and priviledge of sharing Jesus Christ with another person? I say go for Him full-on and go for sharing Him with what tools you can find (see Mark 5:19)? Got some questions for you if you don't mind. How will you be involved? What will the web and fishing tools of tomorrow look like.. yeah, if those tomorrows arrive pre-rapture? Can U adapt to… Continue

Greg Mosey A Highly Favored Choice Of Faith

Faith is a highly favored choice for any believer, regardless of a church or belief you may wish to associate with. As in most scenario's everyone has the liberty to make their own decision's, about whether a ya or nay, this is what creates the obvious results upon those choices. We're looking around in America today and seeing a radical shift in the mindset of things like, holding on to a job, keeping their homes, and the list goes on. Where is this headed? How could that happ… Continue

Joseph Mapendan Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures."

"Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures." — Luke 24:45 He whom we viewed last evening as opening Scripture, we here perceive opening the understanding. In the first work He has many fellow-labourers, but in the second He stands alone; many can bring the Scriptures to the mind, but the Lord alone can prepare the mind to receive the Scriptures. Our Lord Jesus differs from all other teachers; they reach the ear, but He instructs the heart; they deal with the o… Continue

Maryann Brodeur "More Fruit Please!"

I can go weeks without eating fruit. If I just take in what my flesh wants I end up taking in a bunch of junk. When the junk takes up all the space inside me there is no room for the fruit. All the while my body is crying out, “More fruit please!” I realized I was gaining some weight back that I lost a few years ago so I started keeping track of my food again 5 days ago. The weight is already starting to come off. Everyone keeps saying, “You look good the way you are", but I know I looked bette… Continue

Michelle & Kipp Crazy Love - Encouragement

For the last couple of weeks I have been really drawn to God’s words regarding the church members, loving one another and serving as one body in Christ. This morning I was reading my book "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan and wanted to share some of what I read with everyone. “When we work for Christ out of obligation, it feels like work. But when we truly love Christ, our work is a manifestation of that love, and it feels like love.” Jesus said, John 16:33“These things I have spoken unto you that… Continue

Greg Mosey The Metamorphosis In 2010 That Will Open The Gates Of Favor From Heaven

We are living in the times that most people refer to as the end days and the strangest events seem to present a sense of fear, even in our churches. I'm convinced that in 2010, we will encounter men and women as they experience a metamorphosis and welcome God's favor from during the so called end days. This metamorphosis is going to cover the gambit from the newest believer clear into the eldest of elders in the church. You see God has never been found of pouring out His grace bas… Continue

Maryann Brodeur Reflecting on 2009

2009 was an interesting year. I myself certainly went through a lot of changes. I didn’t always like those changes but after arguing with God only a little ok I realized that these changes needed to happen for my own growth spiritually and mentally. This year has actually been a blessing in many ways when I look back and see where I was and where I am now. I remember my first bible study years back. Shortly after I started going our leader left and went to another church. The other people in th… Continue

Joe Ford What is Fellowship? by Pastor Greg Laurie

"Fellowship" is a great word that Christians often use. But do we know what fellowship originally meant in the early church? The word "fellowship" used in Acts 2 is the Greek word koinonia. It is a difficult word to translate into English because of its many shades of meaning. It can be translated "fellowship," "communion," "community," "communal," and "friendship." The word encompasses so much that believers do together. But fellowship is more than socializing. Anyone can socialize. The idea o… Continue
