The Way That Is Right

Faith is a highly favored choice for any believer, regardless of a church or belief you may wish to associate with. As in most scenario's everyone has the liberty to make their own decision's, about whether a ya or nay, this is what creates the obvious results upon those choices. We're looking around in America today and seeing a radical shift in the mindset of things like, holding on to a job, keeping their homes, and the list goes on.

Where is this headed? How could that happen? When will I ever get ahead? These are the kind of questions that I have found many have not considered until 2009. But for those that have spent the time to build a foundation in their faith, they know that nothing is set in concrete and have learned to see beyond circumstances.

Faith is an amazing journey of things tried, worked out, and completed, even if the results were far from the understanding before they took action. In the discussion of the foundation David established before he faced the giant, Goliath, we can read of the source that his faith was built. It's not the faith that he imagined to make him great, but the faith that coupled the desire that overpowered his actions.

As we have seen in the life of David, he had a lifestyle that formed his character which made him the prime candidate to excersize his faith. For you that have already prepared your life resume, I have included five things that you can do this year to break out of the cocoon in your metamorphosis, F A I T H.

F= Fear
Fear is a character that is quite the the opposite when put side by side with faith. Fear has a way of paralyzing some with a lot of intimidation. When you discover this fear factor, take the time to stop a moment and consider the other side of the coin. This is the place that genuine faith conquers over fear. After looking around with all the men available to fight the giant Goliath, a boy, David, steps up to the challenge with that same fear that all of Israel had. God will use the man or woman that has the desire to serve the Lord and sometimes, amidst the many, fear holds them back.

A= Automatic
Automatic response to a character separates a lot of the second thoughts that prevents victory and can also create confusion if you allow it to ponder. I'm not suggesting that you don't take the time to evaluate the situation but rather that when you are faced with decisions, your character already has an agenda. What may be right for me may not be so well with you. Your life resume reveals the automatic response and how to measure your direction. Be "YOU"nique and act on that.

I= Inspired
Ahh...some of you may be thinking that you are far from the inspired type. I will agree with you on that although history has proven me wrong. Without getting biblically legalistic, I do believe that in the order of time, God keeps His records of inspiration for His keeping. As I have mentioned before, He does coordinate order to His plan and for the few that have the desire to live that out, they will certainly leave His mark on society. Ask yourself a few questions that may fill in the blanks. Not too many people recall the individuals that introduced famous and greats in society. Look at Mary, the lady that gave birth to Jesus, who was she?

T= Tested
1 Thessalonians 5:21 "Test all things; hold fast what is good." Character has a following. A Russian by the name of Conrad Hubert also known as Akiba Horowitz, created the world's first flashlight in 1898 after his attempted success with items like portable fans, a novelty pocket light, lighted stick pins, and even an illuminated flowerpot. Every time you look at that pink bunny running across the screen will you remember his name? One of the things I have used to exercise faith in a real world is to simplify the process with three words. Plan...Do...Review.

H= Heart
There are many that follow their hearts when it comes to making a highly favored choice for faith. I have to ask you a question though about which may even rattle your beliefs. I love the words that king David passed on to his son Solomon regarding how to lead his kingdom in 1 Chronicles 28:9-10
"As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. Consider now, for the LORD has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong, and do it."

These characters, of which we all have, have a different measure of faith to be exercised throughout. When you take action to maximize your effectiveness in your corner of the world, you will review your life resume and empower the faith within. I have combined all the keywords in this blog as a statement that you might like to post on your fridge or mirror where you will be reminded how great His creation has made you.

In the discovery of fear, I have developed an automatic response to be inspired and tested that my heart is true.

BRO!!!!!

Your words about faith here are supercharging me this morning...Especially "T...Tested", because it encourages me to be bold in saying to myself, "Marc, stop worrying about issues that amount to nothing more than your "Style" of doing things - Just do all things from a faith and love perspective"

Thanks Bro!
