The Way That Is Right

Beyond Discouragement.

~2 Chronicles 15:7~
But as for you, be strong and do not give
up, for your work will be rewarded...

We as Christians have many reasons to celebrate. God
is in heaven; Christ has risen, and we are the
sheep of his flock. Yet sometimes, even the most
devout christian woman or men can become discouraged. After
all, we live in a world where expectations can be high and
demands can be even higher. If you become discouraged
with the direction of your day or your life, turn your
thoughts and prayers to God. He is a God of possibility, not
negativity. He will help you count your blessings instead of
your hardships. And then, with a renewed spirit of optimism
and hope, you can properly thank your father in heaven for
His blessings, for His love, and for His Son.

Overcoming discouragement is simply a matter of taking
away the DIS and adding the EN.

Comment by Tony and Lani Gold on August 13, 2009 at 7:10am: It is a tactic of the enemy to get us to focus on all our hardships and what is wrong in our lives. The Psalms are a great testiment inrecounting the things He has done when the writers were discouraged. As they end them you see and "hear" their encouragement as their hope is renewed. I have read that the Psalms are prayers in song form. So praise Him in song and see how you are lifted up as on eagles wings.
