Ordinary you

Romans 2:7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality;
Not all of us grow up to be astronaughts, or super heros. In fact most of us just grow up, live this life and pass on into the mists of time. We don't become famous, rich or powerful; we just live our lives whatever they may be.
But it is not what you do for yourself that will get you noticed in Heaven. GOD does not hand out eternal life to those who have made a big splash for themselves down here. HE gives it to those who seek HIM and glorify and honor HIM with their words and deeds. Who are not self serving, but seek the welfare of others over themselves in patience, kindness, and charity. This is what their faith is built on, GOD's promise; and they let others know about that promise in their deeds and words, not drawing attention to themselves, but to GOD.
They may not make a big splash down here, don't receive honors from man or become rich and powerful. But they are steadfast in the LORD and will receive from GOD what HE has promised - Eternal Life.
