We are living in the times that most people refer to as the end days and the
strangest events seem to present a sense of fear, even in our churches.
I'm convinced that in 2010, we will encounter men and women as they
experience a metamorphosis and welcome God's favor from during the
so called end days.
This metamorphosis is going to cover the gambit from the newest believer
clear into the eldest of elders in the church. You see God has never been
found of pouring out His grace based on your position in the family. It's
always been about the willingness of the individual as the gates of favor
from heaven spill into the events in time that He has ordained.
I'd like to challenge you to keep reading and I'll give you a few points
that you can inventory and lets see if you could be a candidate
for this metamorphosis to take place this year.Today we are going to use
the story of David and Goliath as a reference so you can see how to
apply this.
There are three points about the boy David we see, as he grows from
the shepherd to the king based on the event with Goliath. He was just an
ordinary guy like you or me. He knew as much about God as we too!
The first point is obvious, a shepherd, which is what I like to consider a
JOB.
Second point...as a shepherd he did a lot of talking to his dog, sheep,
critters and God. A forced mentality which prepared his self disciple
as he would practice with music and other stuff like were to sleep or
what to eat, you know. Think about that for a moment.
Third and important is what he applied in the inventory of his life. To
date, the main tools of the trade would have been his staff, and maybe
a knife, but for sure we know by the scriptures he knew how to use
a rock as a weapon. Interestingly as it is recorded in 1 Samuel 17:34-36,
David tells Saul of how he killed the bear and the lion bear handed!
The three points of value we have here today is:
1. He had the heart of a servant and performed his daily job.
2. Wandering all the time he knew how to stay focused where to go.
3. With the responsibility of his flock, to lead and protect.
Skills he learned as a shepherd boy enabled him to become a great king.
David looked around at what he already knew how to do and he took
a step where others trembled in fear. This is why I know that we will
see people perform tasks of great faith in 2010.
Without Davids knowledge, he is now ready to receive that transformation
I was referring to as the metamorphosis. This is where you get the chance
to do your own inventory and review what you have been.
Please take the time to do the inventory I have been speaking about.

some tips on how to maximize and morph your past.
